Mission Statement

Joyful Heart Music is the record and publishing arm of the music of Peter and Hanneke Jacobs and others dedicated to teaching Christian values and Biblical truths to children and teens, as well as praise and worship for adults.

Biography

The Jacobs' wellknown and longstanding track record both writing and producing albums, videos and musicals dates back to 1970 with the advent of the popular Jesus Movement in California. After their original debut with pioneer group, Children of the Day, the Jacobs spent years teaching until their busy writing and recording schedule became fulltime. Their credits include writer/production work for Maranatha Music, Word Music, Benson/Providant, Lillenas and many other Christian music companies. In 1990, they formed their own company, Joyful Heart Music. In addition, the Jacobs have produced the popular "Colby's Clubhouse" television show for children, and have spent years touring with their youth show choir, Heartsong.
